Civic Engagement - Free Tutoring for Economically Disadvantage Students in the Chapel Hill, Carrboro and Durham Area
WHY DO WE OFFER FREE TUTORING TO ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS AND HOW DOES IT HELP STUDENTS?
Tutoring is a way we could easily give back to our community. We hope to use our talents to improve the academic life of those who are in need. Tutoring can enable your kid to create study and learning abilities that will set them up with good study habits and success. We offer bespoke tutoring. Individualize attention improves the frame of mind towards learning and school. Our tutoring is focused on the student. It is tutoring that students don't get in a packed classroom.
Wealthy parents know that tutoring is helpful to the children. They also have the financial resources to pay for tutoring. There are numerous reasons parents pay for tutoring. Some feel incapable to assist their youngsters with homework. Others discover their kids are increasingly responsive to working through school battles with someone else.
Who are we? Our tutoring program is run by myself, Alec Perez, and the Chris Ascher, with help from Declan Davis. We are students at Cardinal Gibbons High School. We are very dedicated to our academic, athletic careers and take those things very seriously. We want to give back to our community.
